Proud of my interns and students’ creative work in my third year instructing at Anne Arundel County Public Schools CAT-South’s Gaming and Simulation Program.
Academic highlights for 2024-25 was the establishment of the Internship program which allows for seniors, Calvin Musser and Charlie Birdsall, to help instruct my Level 2 students (mostly Juniors) and provide leadership for SkillsUSA competitions. Because of this new initiative, CAT-South was able to field three teams who competed at 52nd Maryland’s SkillsUSA. Team “Spire Scramble”, Katelyn Smith and Khaleil Pirmohamed, brought home the Bronze! Team “Mission of Fear”, Jacob Adams Diaz and Calvin Musser and Team “Soul’s Replevin”, Charlie Birdsall and Micah Anglin, developed awesome games which you can review below. Proud of my Level 1 student, Avarie Pisani, (picture on right) who won Silver Metal for her Maryland Pin design at this year’s SkillsUSA competition! She will be in Level 2 next year.
